For users of the Electra-Kool Model 500 blower system who are installing a new filter media or retrofitting their unit, Electra-Kool offers a “filter kit” or “hardware kit” option which includes the filter plus mounting bracket/hardware to allow fitment into either the native blower or alternate brands. These filters feature four layers of corrugated aluminum mesh offering long-lasting, corrosion-resistant protection against coarse particulates. They are rated at 60% AC fine dust, and prefilter wraps are also available to add further protection as well as extend the life of your filter.
