STAINLESS STEEL BELT MINI-SKIMMERS

Tramp oil can accumulate on the surface of industrial fluids during operation. In high-temperature or chemically aggressive environments, standard skimming components may wear prematurely. The Mini-Skimmer Stainless Steel Belt Oil Skimmer Model MSB-B is a mechanical device designed to remove floating oil from the surface of liquids in parts washers, ultrasonic cleaning systems, and coolant tanks. The unit operates using a continuous stainless steel belt that passes through the liquid surface, lifting oil which is then removed by a scraper and directed into a collection container. This process is purely mechanical and does not involve chemicals, additives, or fluid treatment. The stainless steel belt is suited for use in hot, acidic, and alkaline environments where other belt materials may not perform reliably. The system includes a stainless steel tail pulley with stabilizer bar and a UHMW bearing-grade scraper designed to minimize wear during continuous operation. The compact drive unit mounts easily and is designed for industrial applications where space is limited. The system is capable of removing up to 1 gallon of oil per hour and operates in fluid temperatures up to 220 degrees F. Available configurations include 8 inch, 12 inch, 18 inch, and 24 inch reach lengths, along with 10 RPM or 30 RPM motor options. Reach is defined as the vertical distance from the mounting surface to the bottom of the lower pulley and determines how deep the skimmer extends into the tank.
